Your journey begins with a 45 minutes boat ride from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar town. An overland transfer to the Forest Reserve passing by orchards and the native rice fields. Upon reaching Bukit Patoi Nature reserve, sign in before taking a guided rainforest trek. Learn about the forest ecosystem, possible sight of some birds, unique insect and sometimes even wildlife. Further up will bring you up with steps reaching the unique geological rock formation before the peak of Bukit Patoi . Enjoy a sense of achievement at the peak of Bukit Patoi . Reward with a panaromic view of Rainforest canopy all the way your eye can see. Visit one of the longhouses to experience feelings of living in a village under one roof and be among the Bornean natives whose ancestors were once headhunters. Return to Bandar Seri Begawan in the late afternoon. |
