TOUR NAME: Country & Nature trip

DURATION: 5 hours with lunch

9am Meet at Hotel. This half day trip takes you to the lush countryside surrounding the Tasik Merimbun of Tutong District. The Tasik Merimbun ASEAN's Heritage Park is a sanctuary for flora and fauna that visitors can enjoy and scientists can research. The country's largest lake, Tasik Merimbun, is located inside. Nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers will enjoy exploring the many trails in this park that provide an awesome view of the wildlife and greenery. You will have an oppurtunuty to explorer the primary Rainforest and enjoy the serenity of the beautiful lake.

Along the way, we will also stop by an Orchid Farm. Learn a bit about orchid plant of Brunei . Further to the countryside you will see padi field, Sago Palm where once was staple food of early Borneo tribe. You will also have change to get close to the natural world of Pitcher plant. Pitcher plants are carnivorous plants whose prey-trapping mechanism features a deep cavity filled with liquid known as a pitfall trap . It has been widely assumed that the various sorts of pitfall trap evolved from rolled leaves, with selection pressure favouring more deeply cupped leaves over evolutionary time.

With so much to learn about nature in a few hours of our trip, we also need to replendness our energy. The best place for lunch is to try on local delicacy at nearby countryside coffee shop.

After Lunch, back to hotel with many tale to share about Brunei Countryside.

For the walk in the forest, long pants, socks, shirt and a pair of walking shoes with a good grip for walking on jungle trek.

Sun lotion, hat, raincoat, camera, binoculars, Small towel for the walk, Towel + toiletries , Insect repellent, heritage North East of Hanoi. We will visit Van Phuc Silk Village and Chuong Conical hat village where you can buy typical souvenirs of Vietnam . From Chuong Village we drive to Thay Pagoda where we have a picnic lunch. The Thay Pagoda is a complex of temples, communal houses and pagoda nestled at the foot of a large limestone cliff formation, characteristic of the area. It is said that the traditional water puppet theatre originated here. We then proceed to Tay Phuong Pagoda which is situated on the top of Buffalo Mountain . This pagoda could be the most beautiful pagoda in Northern Vietnam with an ancient architecture, impressive wooden statues of Buddha and Arhats.
